Yes, It is a mandatory requirement to ride at our centre.

We have a limited number of standards-approved helmets in all sizes. Once you commit to regular lessons it is expected and wise that you purchase your own. We are happy to help you select the right helmet when purchasing.

Jodphurs or comfortable full-length leggings, jeans or tight-fitting stretch pants. A sleeved shirt, in the colder months layers that you can peel off as you warm up, is ideal. Please no singlet tops are permitted.

It is essential that you wear covered shoes with a reasonably smooth sole and small heel, or boots. We have a very limited number of boots available (not in all sizes) to borrow if need be. So try to arrange your own if possible. Work boots such as Blundstones or Redback are not appropriate due to their grip soles.

Ofcous you can, all our horses and ponies love to be spoilt after a ride. Most love carrots, apples, pears or bread. Please ask permission of your instructor before feeding your horse - as like all treats moderation is important for their health.

No, dogs are not allowed at the centre. Even the best-behaved animal might not mix with horses. Please leave your pets at home.
