BUILDING CONFIDENCE & CONNECTION

Scone Equestrian Centre is dedicated to improving your horsemanship and enabling you to become a confident rider. You may be a total beginner, an adult looking to get back in the saddle, a plan manager looking for a safe, strong development program for your clients, or preparing for horse ownership. We aim to create confidence and trust between riders and horses through feel and understanding.

Scone Equestrian Centre has been in operation since 2009, I started the centre out of a burning desire to cater for horse enthusiasts without the means to have their own horse and enable them to be able to learn about these wonderful creatures.

TRAINER, INSTRUCTOR & OWNER

MEET ROBYN

Robyn was raised in Sydney where she learnt to ride with Pearl Batchelor at Tall Timbers. With 20 years as an officer in the NSW Police, five of which in the Mounted Section where she was awarded the “Silver Spurs” and winning the Hazlett Trophy on two occasions. Robyn has had many years with Pony Club NSW, worked at Riding for the Disabled as a volunteer, and evented to two-star level.

While raising her five sons and teaching them all to ride, the family discovered the discipline of Equestrian vaulting. During this journey they enjoyed many accolades including wins at CVI's; Robyn educated and trained many vaulting horses during this time who went on to be State and National Champions on frequent occasions.

In addition, she has experience at a high-level sport, Yacht racing.  Robyn has extensive experience racing inshore and offshore, including 4 Sydney to Hobart Yacht races, as both navigator, helmsman and sail trimmer.

Robyn now brings all of this experience combined with her training as an equestrian coach to your next riding lesson; ensuring that it will be tailored to your needs in a motivating and safe environment.
